Social Justice Campaign

According to the Association of American Medical Colleges, 40% of first- and second-year medical students endorsed the belief that “Black people’s skin is thicker than white people’s.” Sadly, this belief is carried into medical practice by some doctors. They treat Black patients as if they experience less pain, leading them to improperly care for their patients. To combat that, AAMC wrote an article titled How we fail black patients in pain. To spread awareness, I created a series of posters highlighting the issue. The bold statements are used to catch the viewer's attention and lead them to learn more about it on AAMC's website.
